Community Advisory Council
The Community Advisory Council (CAC) has 15 members, at least half of whom are individuals with disabilities and family members. The Council meets three times per year at Baylor University to speak into the growing work of the BCDD.

The Council:
- Advises on critical issues and pressing needs in our community and state
- Generates ideas for projects that would have local and national significance
- Helps strengthen and promote the work, resources, and reputation of the Center
- Recommends ways we can collaborate well beyond our campus
- Ensures the voices and priorities of the disability community are honored throughout our work
