Become a Student Fellow
What is a Fellow?
Baylor undergraduate and graduate students conducting research, receiving clinical training, and working on projects under faculty and staff affiliated with the Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities.
Eligibility
- Must be a student at Baylor University
- Must affirm the mission, vision, and values of the BCDD
Nominations
- BCDD affiliate faculty and staff can send student nominations to Dr. Kristen Padilla at Kristen_Padilla@baylor.edu
- Student affiliations will last one year (or for duration of project) and can be renewed by the faculty/staff mentor
Benefits for Affiliated Fellows:
- Opportunity to advance interdisciplinary work on disability at Baylor and beyond

- Networking opportunities within Baylor and throughout the state
- Opportunities for research and training under the mentorship of BCDD-affiliated faculty

- Eligibility for student mini-grants to fund projects related to disability
Fellow Responsibilities:
- Promoting the BCDD in any of your supported work
- Acknowledging relevant Center support in publications and presentations
- Updating us each year about associated projects, publications, and presentations for our annual report
- Attending occasional activities hosted by the Center
