Feeding and Mealtime Behavior Intervention Program
Following a medical evaluation from a pediatrician, our team applies the therapeutic techniques of applied behavior analysis in the treatment of inappropriate mealtime behavior (for example, throwing temper tantrums in order to be excused from eating). Each child is evaluated so we gain a better understanding of his or her feeding needs and current family concerns related to feeding. We use the results of these evaluations to develop a treatment plan catered to the child's specific needs. We aim to improve your child's appropriate behavior while decreasing inappropriate behavior so that mealtime can be a more positive experience for the entire family.
