Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To promote the flourishing of people with disabilities, their families, and communities through compelling research, training, leadership, outreach, and clinical services.
Our Vision
We envision a future in which people with disabilities and their families have the opportunities, support, services, and relationships needed to thrive in all aspects of their lives and communities.
We believe that children and adults with disabilities have gifts, friendship, faith, and contributions that can enrich and enliven every community. The Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities is casting a vision in which we can all learn, work, worship, and live together as one body, where every member belongs. As the only center on disability at a Christian research university, we are guided by our faith and committed to fostering communities in which people with and without disabilities are considered indispensable.
